Easy Camping Meal Suggestions for Your Next Adventure

If you have all your camping kitchen essentials all sorted, you can get started on planning the simple, delicious and easy meals you will be cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner on your next camping trip on or next to the campfire. Planning a list of the meals you will be having while on your trip will help you to prepare and store the produce you will be taking with you.

Camping trips are a great way for campers to relax, enjoy the peaceful sounds and surrounds and be at one with nature. Sometimes the simplest recipes are the way to go because it means less garbage and more storage space for other things. Plus, more time to relax, which is a bonus. If you’re fishing near a creek or river, you may want to cast a rod and try to catch a fish to have with some vegetables for dinner.

Bringing along canned vegetables and fruit on your camping trip is a great way to eat healthy and simple meals, without worrying that your produce will spoil due to the heat. For example, if you’re lucky enough to catch some fish from a nearby waterway, you can throw it on a grill on the campfire with some vegetables, which will make for a fantastic meal. Some designated camping spots have a BBQ, but most of the time you will need to bring a grill or a stove so that you can enjoy hot dinners.

Check out a few of the team at Camping Gear Store – Australia’s favourite recipes below:
